Help when the call comes
When a long-term care bed opens up, families have 24 hours to say yes and about five days to move in. We take the packing and moving off your plate so you can focus on your parent.

Packing their room
We pack clothing, toiletries, photos and favourite things, labelled so staff and family can find them.

Moving and setting up
We move it all to the care home, hang pictures, make the bed and set up the room so it feels familiar on day one.

Choosing what fits
We help you pick the furniture and keepsakes that suit a small room and the home's rules, and set the rest aside safely.

The house, when you're ready
Once your parent is settled, we can sort, sell and clear the family home through cleanouts and online auctions, without the rush.
How it works
Three Simple Steps

Call us when the offer comes
Call or text as soon as you accept the bed offer. We'll book a time right away, often the same or next day.
Plan & quote.
Pack, move & set up.
We confirm the move-in date, what's going and the cost. Labour is $45/hour, quoted up front.
We pack, move and set up the room before the move-in deadline. If you can't be there, we send photos of the finished room.
Why the 5-day window matters
Ontario's rules for long-term care placement move fast:
1. You have 24 hours to accept or refuse a bed offer.
2. Once you accept, your parent must move in within five days, and move-ins usually can't happen on weekends.
3. If you refuse, your parent comes off every waitlist and generally has to wait 12 weeks to apply again.
4. The family arranges and pays for the move.
So most families say yes, then have until Friday or Monday to pack clothes, choose the furniture and keepsakes for a small room, and move it all in, often while working or living out of town. That's where we come in.
The five days are for moving your parent in, not clearing the whole house. The house cleanout or auction can come afterwards, without the rush.
