Liquidation isn't a garage sale. It's a plan.
From older brick homes near downtown and East City to bungalows in the north end and family cottages up toward Lakefield, Peterborough-area estates often hold furniture, tools, collectibles and cottage gear that local buyers want. We find it, price it, photograph it and get it in front of bidders, so the estate gets fair value and the house gets cleared.
How it works
1 / Walk through and value
We tour the home with you (or by video call), point out what's likely to sell, and set aside anything the family wants to keep. You get a written plan and estimate.
2 / Photograph, list and sell
Items are cleaned up, photographed and listed in an online auction. Buyers from Peterborough, the Kawarthas and beyond bid for about a week, then collect everything on one pickup day.
3 / Clear, clean and pay out
Unsold items are donated where possible and the rest is hauled away. The house is left broom-clean, and you receive the auction proceeds less our 10% fee, with a full breakdown.
What sells well at auction
Not sure if anything in the house is worth selling? These are the things Peterborough-area buyers look for most. We'll tell you honestly what's worth listing at the walkthrough.
