The Estate Care Company was created to provide families with practical, compassionate help when a home needs to be cleared, downsized or prepared for its next chapter.
Hi, I’m Christine Brown, the owner of The Estate Care Company.
I know what this is like from the inside. When my parents’ home, and later my father-in-law’s, needed to be cleared and sold, I was the executor, and both homes were in another province. I spent weeks away from my own home doing what I could, then tried to manage the rest from a distance.
It was stressful and exhausting. There were so many decisions and so many details that I barely had room to grieve.
That’s why I started The Estate Care Company: so local families, and especially executors who live far away, have someone they can trust to take care of the home while they take care of themselves.
I’ll walk through the property with you (or on a video call if you’re out of town), explain your options plainly, and give you a written plan and quote before any work begins. Photos, letters and keepsakes are always set aside for the family first, and I’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
I’m a local owner, fully insured and police-check cleared, serving Northumberland, Peterborough, Hastings and the Quinte area.
